Guest Podcasting

26% of the Australian population listens to podcasts weekly, representing a 53% increase compared to the post-pandemic era. If you’re an expert in your industry, becoming a guest on someone else’s podcast to discuss a topic relevant to your niche can be a great way to grow your email list. 

How so? 

Well, if you provide a lot of value to listeners, it’s only natural that some of us will want to know more about you and your business. A good practice is to set up a dedicated landing page with lead capture in mind before the show and offer a free gift for listeners in exchange for their email addresses. 

The gift could be a short e-course about the topic you’re discussing or a webinar you’re recorded with other experts in the field.

Use The Instagram Story Link Sticker Feature

Up until recently, only Instagram accounts with over 10,000 followers could add links to their Instagram stories through a swipe up feature. This means that if you had a small following, you couldn’t direct traffic to your website or landing page using your Instagram Stories. 

The good news is that those days are gone, and you too, can now add links to your Instagram Stories. 

In August 2021, the swipe up feature was replaced by a new link sticker which is now publicly available to all, regardless of your account’s size. This provides small businesses with an easy and effective way to send traffic to their website or landing page and capture email addresses.
